Joseph and the technicolor dreamcoat

I ended up uploading my video on my computer last night and editing and producing the movie before going to bed at 2 am last night. I burned a few copy's for my principal and Patricia, (the teacher who was directing the production ) to check out before burning the hundreds of DVDs for sale.

The movie turned out alright, except for lighting and sound being inferior. Because I didn't have a direct sound feed to my camera I only could capture the sound off the sound system speakers, which were awesome live. I could edit in sound, but that process would take a lot longer to do, as for the the lighting? I had no control over, what do you expect with an elementary school production.

Tonight I get to do it all over again. GO....GO...GO... JOSEPH!

I'm all go, go, go go, go joseph'd out! Almost 2 hours of show!! One down and one to go.....

The play the kids put up was awesome. Now I have to upload the video onto my computer tonight when I get home and get ready for tomorrows performance.

No training today as I went in to work early to get set up for the play.

I might have time to hit the pool tomorrow, we will see?

Mini Tri day

I had a big work out day. I started the day with a one hour ride, then ran a 30 min brick. I downed a protein shake and made my way to the holly pool for a 1000m swim followed by an hour of diving. whew! I'm tired!! ......

I took my Digital camera with me to work today, as I volunteered to be the video photographer, ( yet another one of my many talents) for my schools up coming play of Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat. ...

There will be two nights of the production of the play at my school, the first being Wednesday and the second will be Thursday, and i am filming both because each night has a different lead playing Joseph.

I needed some sound checks done and I videoed some of the surrounding props and stage, and some behind the scene shots. I even caught one of the teachers practicing her singing part on camera. I'm going to use it to blackmail her if she get out of line with me and doesn't keep her class clean. ; ) ........

Tonight when I get home after work, I will upload the behind the scene shots I took today on to my computer, along with the credits I will shoot when I get a copy of the program tomorrow and edit it onto the film of Joseph that I'm shooting. When I'm done filming both night productions, I'll edit everything together to make two seperate DVDs for the school to sell to the parents of either nights production.

Started a grow-op

Today after my run I forgot to mention I planted my veggie garden. I turned and Hoed the bed and planted about 20 tomato plans of different variety's, bush beans, zucchini and pumpkins, all my favorite.I also managed to get sun burned, my back is as red as a tomato. : )

The weekend.

Saturday was cold so I didn't ride. Joanne took me out for my birthday dinner to the Mandarin for a great Chinese buffet dinner. I love Chinese!! I pigged out on crab legs, prime rib roast, spare ribs, chicken, fish, oh ya, and some rice and veggies. Then I went up for seconds! : )

Sunday, I went out biking with some members of my tri club Michelle Ted, Dave, and Leslie. We rode out to Wasaga beach and back and then some for a total around 100km. It was a good ride and weather was great but we did have cool winds. I felt great after my ride. When I got home I started dinner Mexican style, Taco's!!
