Less is More???

Waffle, waffle, waffle, Mmmm I'm hungry.

Before going in the pool yesterday, I did some weights and running in the fitness room. Then I did a few lengths of the pool before hitting the diving board.

I had a great time diving yesterday. Everyone was glad to see me back on the board at the rec centre after my 2 month hiatus from my calf injury. It's good to know your are missed. :-)

I've decided to ditch a normal training ramp up to Disney, because I just don't have enough time to follow a normal program with getting my weight down and fitness up, along with working a 8 hour shift with a 2 1/2 hour commute. So I'm going to go back to something I learned a long time ago *( ancient Chinese secret to lose weight and get fit fast) with a less is more training program.

First of all I need to get my weight down so I can train, and the only way I can do it fast enough is to cut my calories right down, that is where the less is more training comes in over the next few weeks.

I will be doing short intense training sessions all anaerobic daily over the next few weeks to boost my metabolism into high gear, in turn I will drop allot of weight fast.

My swims will be cut down to a max of 1500m per session, my bike will be no more then 1/2 hr and my runs will be short and fast, some if not all workouts will be done daily. Hopefully by the end of April I will be slim enough to carry my fat ass on longer workouts over the next few weeks before race day.

I won't be a stealth or a totally fit guy come Disney. I'll still be over weight and good looking!! ; - )......but I will be able to finish! and at this point in time, this is all I'm looking to do. That and take my girls to Disney World, as well as see my tri friends at Disney.

Currently I'm still weighing 240lbs, so we shall see what happens.

Disclaimer....Not recomended for the weak at heart. Results may very depending on mentality and ability to focus!! Do not try this at home! this type of training came be dangerous to your health.

Have a great day! : - )
